As you can see from the picture above (which I took and it is Ultimate), Windows Vista is very clean and it has a sleek look. But, should you just get it for it's looks? If you do want to get it for its looks, then first you might want to check to see if your graphics card can support Vista's aero theme. If it can't you'll have an ugly home basic theme that looks like this:
If your computer does have a good graphics card, aero will look like this:
Still you shouldn't get Vista. It doesn't have very good gaming. It is a memory hogger. It takes up 15 GB (it may vary depending on which version you have). But the worse thing about vista is that it is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY slow! It take FOREVER to boot up! So if you ask me I think you should stay with XP.
