Windows 7 is a big fix to Windows Vista. Much more secure, and surprisingly, as fast as Windows XP- maybe even faster. The really annoying user account control has been fixed. It only pops up once and a while, but no where near how much Vista did. The cool aero theme is still there as normal. In Windows 7, there is no side bar. All the gadgets are free once and for all to move around your desktop! In Windows 7, they basically just re-made the Windows Explorer. It does look very nice after the re-model. Microsoft is always trying out new things like the gadgets forming a circle around the start button, which was suppost to be Windows 7 but it always turns out to be the same old start menu and task bar. Windows 7 does look a lot like Vista, but is nothing like it.
